As a result, students will have the knowledge and skills necessary to participate meaningfully in a global economy and multicultural society.
Goals:
Our students will become strategic readers who read for a variety of purposes. They will construct, extend and examine meaning from what they read.
Our students will become problem solvers who utilize math for a variety of purposes.
Our students will clearly communicate what they know through writing.
Our students will demonstrate good citizenship by showing respect, responsibility, preparedness, safety and being their personal best each day.

School Hours: 8 am – 4 pm
Registration Information: Pierre A. Capdau-UNO Charter is an open enrollment school. Registration takes place in January, 2011. Parents must complete an application which will be available at the school and on this web page during the registration period.
Prospective students will be selected by lottery if there are more applications than there are spaces available.

Transportation: Yellow school bus transportation provided by school.
Health Services: School nurse, 2 full-time counselors (individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, and at risk group dynamic counseling), LA Yes, Tulane mobile mental health bus
